Drafting of consent minutes or bindaing financial agreements
If you have been able to reach an agreement as to children's matters or property we can assist to check if the agreement is within the normal range for such matters, provide advice on any issues which may require further discussion and once the agreement is secure to formalize the arrangements by way of consent minutes to be filed with the court or Binding Financial Agreements.
Wills and Power of Attorney
We can assist you to work out what you may wish to do should you become incapable of handling your own finances or health issues and secure that outcome in a Power of Attorney.
we can also discuss with you what you want to see happen to your assets once you pass and finalize this into a Will so you can feel comfortable your wishes will be met.
Negotiations and concilliation
If you have been unable to reach an agreement in relation to your family law matters, we can assist by entering into negotiations on your behalf to ascertain the matrimonial pool, any valuations that need to be obtained, work through who will retain what asset, and ensure that you have all the right information to make an informed decision on any final division of property or arrangements for children.
Once all the information is known we can assist with collaborative avenues such as mediation or negotiations via correspondence to allow an agreement to be reached which can then be turned into orders or a Binding financial agreement to secure everyone's position moving forward.
Family Law Litigation
While it is always our position that negotiated outcomes allow our client to feel they have participated in making decisions for their future, there are just some cases that end up needing judicial assistance. In those cases, we can draft the relevant documents for you , attend at court on your behalf on interim matters , assist in obtaining valuations or expert reports and brief appropriate barristers should the matter need to go to a final hearing.
